The Alice-Users Mailing List
To become part of the Alice user community, send mail to majordomo@virginia.edu, and put in the body of the message:
subscribe alice-users
This will add your name to the Alice mailing list. Messages sent to
that list can be read by everyone else on that list, and that way we
can all help each other out in answering questions, solving problems
and responding to your reactions.
If you need to unsubscribe from the list, send email to majordomo@virginia.edu with
the body of the message as:
unsubscribe alice-users your@address.here
Asking Questions
If you have a question about Alice that isn't covered in our
list of Frequently Asked Questions,
you may be able to get the answer from the Alice-Users Mailing List.
If you have a technical problem with the Alice program, we encourage
you to send email to report it to us, described below.
Reporting Bugs
Before you send in a bug, you might want to check our known bugs list to make sure its not been reported.
To report bugs, send mail to alice-bugs@virginia.edu. Please include the following information:
- A short description of the behavior you expected and a description of the behavior you got.
- Which version of Alice you are using (use Alice's About tool if you're not sure)
- The smallest possible example script that demonstrates your bug
- If you can, we would appreciate it if you sent us the file
called Errors.txt in your Alice bin directory. It sometimes contains
infomation that is useful in solving a problem.

For other concerns (e.g.,licensing), please send mail to alice-admin@virginia.edu.
